Registered Purebred Nubian Dairy Goats in West Michigan
We started with dairy goats in 2007 as 4-H projects for our children and as part of their projects began breeding our Nubians in 2008 with our first kids arriving in April 2009.
We believe in keeping our Nubians as healthy as possible. We test fecals regularly and deworm appropriately. We test annually for CAE and tested negative for CL in 2008 and 2010. We are currently dam-raising our kids until they are about 10-12 weeks old.
The kids are handled daily and are very friendly.
We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association www.adga.org and the Michigan Dairy Goat Society www.mdgs.org. We are participating in DHIR this year and had our first ADGA linear appraisal this year too.
